DHL Account Set Up


Below are the steps required to set up a DHL account in SHIPSTORE:


Obtaining API Credentials for DHL Express:

  2.  Click the "Register Now" button
  3.  Fill out the form on DHL's site
    1.  In the field titled “Describe the application and business process where XML Services will be used”, enter the following value: SHIPSTORE
  4.  Click Save when done.
  5.  DHL will then send you your API credentials within 2 business days


Obtaining API Credentials for DHL eCommerce:

To get this information, you will need to reach out to your DHL eCom rep and have them set you up for API access. Once you are set up, the rep will send you the necessary information.



Registering a DHL account in SHIPSTORE

  1.  Once you get the credentials from DHL, login to SHIPSTORE with an admin user and go to your   SHIPSTORE Admin screen
  2.  Click on the Carriers tab on the left
  3.  Click the Add Carrier button
  4.  Select DHL from the dropdown
  5.  Fill out the form in SS with your DHL information
    1.  If you are planning on using DHL eCommerce, fill out the "eCom" fields with the information supplied to you. Otherwise, only fill out the non-eCom fields.
  6.  Click Save when done
