Shipment Details

Use the shipment details section to enter some basic information about the shipment. The only required fields are:
- Service
- Terms
- Ship Date
These fields are required by the carrier. The other fields (Shipment #, Department, etc.) can be used for your internal purposes. At minimum, it is recommended that you use a shipment number. This will make it easier for support to find your shipment should you encounter problems.
Addresses

Fill out this section with all relevant addresses for the shipment. There are multiple options in the drop-down.

The options you will use most often are Ship To, Ship From/Origin, Return To, and Bill To.
Note: If there is an Origin Address set up for the shipping profile you are currently using, the Ship From/Origin and Return To addresses will automatically populate with the Origin Address from the profile.
Remember: The Ship To address is ALWAYS the destination of the package. The Ship From/Origin address is ALWAYS the place that the package is coming from.
Validate Address
You can click the Validate button to perform an address validation. This will reach out to the carrier's system and check the address you have entered against what the carrier believes the address should be. You can click the Find button to attempt to find missing parts of an address. For example, if you only know the Address Line 1 and the Zip Code, this button will reach out to Google's API and attempt to find the City and State.
Packages
Every parcel shipment must have a package. Use this section to enter the package details. If you have a scale connected, the Weight field will be determined by the scale.
Custom dimensions can be manually entered, or preset dimensions can be chosen from the drop-down, if you have them set up in the system.
Click on the Advanced Options icon to enter more specific information about packages. Some options inside Advanced Options are required for certain shipments.
When clicked, Advanced Options opens a small window.
When you have entered the desired settings, click the "minus" symbol in the Top Right to exit the window.
You can add as many packages as you want/need on an order. To add multiple packages at once, click the button in the right corner of the packages box.
When clicked, Make Multibox Shipment opens a small window.
Rate Results
When you perform the Rate action, the returned rate will show up in this field. You can get more details about the rate by clicking the button with the "tags" icon on the right of the field.
