This screen is where you can choose to Create and/or Modify Email Server settings and Email Templates at the global level. Once created, email settings/templates must then be added to specific profiles via the Profiles section.
 


Email Servers

Email Server records are SMTP settings associated to sending emails through the system. The system allows you to enter multiple records in the case that you have multiple customers that have their own requirements for this process. Required fields for the Email Server are on the left side of the screen.
 

 
NOTE: If you need to test your settings, you can try setting up the same account on your smartphone to test the connection from there. Once you have identified the right settings, enter those into the below window in SHIPSTORE.

Email Templates

The Email Templates section allows you to create/modify any email templates you might use in the system. Email templates can be used for anything from Shipment Notifications, sending documents, and more. One thing to keep in mind is that the Email Template will need to be set up to correspond with the information it is transmitting. For example, you would not be able to use a Shipment Notification email to send an EOD document since there is no Shipment to reference.
 

 
NOTE: The HTML Body is where you create/edit the notification and the Rendered Body is just a preview of what that will look like.
