EU shipping documentation requirements are changing

As part of European Union (EU) efforts to strengthen safety and security at customs for its citizens, the information that we provide to the authorities about your shipments is changing.
Starting March 1, 2023, we will need to submit additional safety and security data before arrival at customs in the EU* or in Northern Ireland, Norway, or Switzerland. These new requirements are due to the latest release of Import Control System 2 (ICS2).
It will be mandatory for FedEx to provide this information to the authorities.
If it is not supplied with the goods you are importing, we may have to delay your shipment until we can obtain the required details.
