Summary: When you reload or re-run a batch and every record errors that the service is not set up on the profile, even though that service works elsewhere, re-run the batch through Batch Functions, pick the run, and turn on the override for that service row.

Problem

You reload or re-run a batch and every record fails with:

the service is not set up on the profile

The service in the message (for example UPS Ground) is set up and works fine on other runs.

Cause

On reload, the batch did not carry the service setting through for the run, so it reports the service as not set up. Re-scheduling the run and turning on the override for that service row re-starts the run with the correct service.

Fix

  1. Select the batch in Shipstore.
  2. Open the Batch Functions menu.
  3. Click Start/Schedule.
  4. Select the completed run in the list.
  5. On the row for the service that errored (for example the Ground row), turn ON the override.
  6. Re-run the batch.

What you should see

The reloaded batch processes without the "service is not set up on the profile" error, and records ship on the expected service.
