Summary: If a USPS batch prints the first few labels correctly and the rest come out blank where the address should be, turn on PDF mode with Legacy mode and print the PDF of the labels.

Problem

You run a batch of USPS labels. The first labels print with the shipping address. The rest print blank where the address should be. Reprinting the labels, or printing one at a time, gives the same blank labels.

Cause

The exact cause is not confirmed. It is most likely on the USPS label service side, not in your batch data. How to check: if the first labels in the batch are complete and only the later ones are blank, this is the likely cause.

Fix

  1. Void the batches that printed blank labels, then delete them.
  2. Create the batches again with a slightly different batch name and import the shipments again.
  3. Turn on PDF mode together with Legacy mode, then run the batch.
  4. Shipstore gives you a PDF with all the labels instead of printing them right away. Print the PDF.
  5. If labels still print blank, email support@shipstore.com with the batch names.

What you should see

Every label in the PDF shows the shipping address, and all of them print.
