Summary: If you do not have your own USPS account, Shipstore can set one up for you so you can rate and print USPS labels. Send us your billing details to get started.
Before you start
Have your billing details ready: the bill-to address, a contact name, phone, and email, and how you want to pay (credit card or check). Note whether you already have a USPS Negotiated Service Agreement (NSA, a special USPS pricing contract).
Steps
- Check that you do not already have your own USPS account set up in Shipstore. If you do, you do not need this.
- Gather the billing details listed above.
- Email support@shipstore.com and ask us to set up a Shipstore-provided USPS account. Include your company name and the billing details.
- If you have a USPS Negotiated Service Agreement (NSA), tell us in the same email. An NSA has to connect through an API so your negotiated prices apply, either straight to USPS or through a partner such as Stamps, EasyPost, or Endicia. We will confirm the right connection for your account.
- We will let you know when the account is ready to use.
What you should see
Once the account is set up, you can rate and print USPS labels on your profile. If you have an NSA, your negotiated prices show on the quotes.
If something goes wrong
USPS labels still do not rate after setup. The account may not be finished on our side. Email support@shipstore.com with your company name and we will check it.
