FedEx LTL (Freight) services appear in Shipstore once you add your FedEx Freight account number to the FedEx carrier record. There is no extra Shipstore charge to ship LTL.

Before you start

You need a FedEx Freight account number. FedEx sets this up. It can be a standalone FedEx Freight account, or your standard FedEx account if FedEx has made it Freight-eligible. Ask your FedEx account representative. There is no extra Shipstore charge to ship LTL.

Steps

  1. Get your FedEx Freight account number from your FedEx account representative.
  2. In Shipstore, go to Administration > Carriers.
  3. Click the edit icon next to your FedEx account.
  4. Enter the number in the Freight Account Number field.
  5. Save and update the carrier record so the FedEx LTL Freight services load.

What you should see

  • FedEx LTL (Freight) services appear as rate and ship options.
  • A test LTL rate returns FedEx Freight.
