Summary: An international label will not print and Endicia sends back error 64095. Endicia needs the sender name to be two words. Change the ship-from name to two words, each at least two letters, and the label prints.
Problem
An international label fails. The recipient name goes through fine, and only the sender side fails. Endicia sends back:
64095 fullname must contain at least 2 alphabetic characters, followed by a space, followed by at least another 2 alphabetic characters
Cause
Endicia checks the full-name field on international labels. It wants at least two letters, then a space, then at least two more letters, which is the shape of a first and last name.
A one-word sender name, such as a single-word company name or a contact with one name, fails that check and returns 64095. A recipient name that already has two parts passes, which is why only the sender trips it. A placeholder ZIP such as 00000 is not the cause.
How to check: look at the sender name on the shipment. If it is one word with no space in it, that is the field Endicia is turning down.
Fix
- Open the ship-from (sender) used for the international shipment.
- Change the sender company or contact name to two words with a space between them. Each part needs at least two letters, and a first and last name is the safest choice.
- If the business needs a one-word brand name on the label, add a second word, or use the contact's full name, so the name still reads as two words.
- Save the change, then process the international label again.
- If the sender name comes in from an order feed or a batch file and you cannot change it on the shipment, email support@shipstore.com and say which sender name is being sent.
What you should see
The label prints with no 64095 message, and the sender name on the label shows two words.
