Problem

A FedEx shipment shows an error and will not process. The shipment has a COD amount.

Cause

FedEx retired FedEx Express C.O.D. and FedEx Ground C.O.D. and E.C.O.D. for domestic shipments on July 31, 2023.

Fix

  1. Open the shipment and clear the Cash On Delivery (COD)? option and the COD Amount.
  2. Process the shipment again.
  3. If COD keeps coming back, remove it where it is set: your order system, the profile defaults, or a business rule.
