Summary: One carrier fails with the error below while another carrier still works. The carrier account is registered in Shipstore but is not added to that profile. Add it to the profile.

Problem

You ship from a profile (the shipping setup for a location or store) and one carrier, for example FedEx, fails while another carrier, for example UPS, works fine. The error reads:

Unable to continue, No carrier enabled

Cause

The carrier account is registered in Shipstore, but it is not turned on for that profile. It may never have been added, or it was removed at some point. With no carrier account enabled for that carrier on the profile, Shipstore cannot rate or ship it.

How to check: Open the profile's carrier settings and look for the failing carrier. If it is missing, that is the cause.

Fix

  1. Go to the Carriers page and confirm the carrier account is registered and is not showing a registration error.
  2. Open the profile that is failing and go to its carrier settings.
  3. Add or turn on the existing carrier account for that profile. Add it if it is not there.
  4. Run a test shipment on that profile for the carrier that was failing.
  5. If the carrier account is not registered at all, register it first, then add it to the profile.

What you should see

The test shipment completes for the carrier that was failing, and the Unable to continue, No carrier enabled error is gone.
