Summary: This UPS message means the UPS Access Point you picked is temporarily full, so UPS is not accepting new labels for it. Pick a different Access Point or try again later.
Problem
Shipping through the API to a UPS Access Point returns the message below. The same account ships to other UPS Access Points fine.
UAP Shipping is not available for selected UAP ID
Cause
Per UPS, this location-specific message means the Access Point you chose has reached its storage limit for the moment. Access Points have limited space, so UPS stops making new labels for a location once it is full, so packages are not turned away on arrival. It is not a Shipstore setup problem; UPS Access Point shipping works for locations that have room.
Fix
- Pick a different UPS Access Point for the shipment and reprocess.
- If you must use that exact location, try again later once it has room.
- Check that the integration is sending a valid Access Point ID. A valid location that is simply full shows this message, not an invalid-ID error.
What you should see
The same shipment succeeds when sent to a different Access Point, and the original location accepts labels again once it has room.
