These are the direct (non-Endicia) USPS and DHL service-code values used to map an integration's ship-via codes to Shipstore services. A service only rates if the carrier account has it enabled, and international rate shopping is set up on each profile.

Before you start

You need an integration that maps its own inbound ship-via codes to Shipstore services on a profile, using direct (non-Endicia) USPS and DHL.

Steps

  1. Map your inbound ship-via codes to these direct USPS service codes: ARE_API.ARE.USPS.GA (Ground Advantage), ARE_API.ARE.USPS.PR (Priority Mail), ARE_API.ARE.USPS.EX (Priority Mail Express), ARE_API.ARE.USPS.LIB (Library Mail), ARE_API.ARE.USPS.MED (Media Mail), ARE_API.ARE.USPS.FCPI (First Class Package International), ARE_API.ARE.USPS.PRI (Priority International), and ARE_API.ARE.USPS.EXI (Express International).
  2. For DHL, map to the DHL codes in the same ARE_API.ARE.DHL namespace (for example ARE_API.ARE.DHL.REG for DHL documents). Email support@shipstore.com for the full current DHL list if you need it.
  3. Remember that a service rates or ships only if the carrier account has that service enabled. Some accounts limit which services are available.
  4. For international rate shopping, create a rate shop on the profile and add the international services you want it to compare. Rate shops are built per profile; there is no built-in international rate shop.

What you should see

A test order with a mapped ship-via code resolves to the intended USPS or DHL service, and the international rate shop returns rates for the services you added to it.
