When shipping a package to Brazil using the FedEx Ship API, the end consumer's tax ID (CPF or CNPJ) must be included in the API request to comply with Brazilian customs regulations.

Where to enter the tax ID in the FedEx API request:

For Brazil shipments, you should include the recipient's tax ID in the recipient.companyName field of the API request payload.

Formatting Guidelines:

• Individual (CPF): Format as "CPF: 123.456.789-10"
  
• Business (CNPJ): Format as "CNPJ: 12.345.678/0001-95 - Business Name"
  

This approach ensures the tax ID is printed on the shipping label and included in customs documentation, which is mandatory for shipments to Brazil
