Summary: End of Day (EOD, the carrier close-out at the end of your shipping day) cannot be set to run on its own on a standard cloud site. Automatic or scheduled End of Day needs a Private Cloud site. On a standard site, run End of Day by hand.
The short answer
A standard cloud site uses one shared set of features, and scheduling End of Day is not one of them. So on a standard cloud site you run End of Day yourself; there is no setting to make it run at a set time. Scheduled or automatic End of Day is available on a Private Cloud site, which is a separate setup that can be customized to your workflow.
What you can do
- If you are on a standard cloud site, run End of Day by hand each day. There is no schedule setting to turn on.
- If you need End of Day to run on its own, email support@shipstore.com to talk about a Private Cloud site. It is a separate, customizable setup and there is a cost difference.
- On a Private Cloud site, support can set End of Day to run at set times, even more than once a day (for example, so shipment-confirmation emails go out during the day instead of only at the end). This is a paid setup; email support to arrange it.
What you should see
On a standard cloud site, there is no option to schedule End of Day, and you run it manually. On a Private Cloud site, End of Day runs at the times support sets up for you.
