Summary: End of Day (EOD, the carrier close-out at the end of your shipping day) cannot be set to run on its own on a standard cloud site. Automatic or scheduled End of Day needs a Private Cloud site. On a standard site, run End of Day by hand.

The short answer

A standard cloud site uses one shared set of features, and scheduling End of Day is not one of them. So on a standard cloud site you run End of Day yourself; there is no setting to make it run at a set time. Scheduled or automatic End of Day is available on a Private Cloud site, which is a separate setup that can be customized to your workflow.

What you can do

  1. If you are on a standard cloud site, run End of Day by hand each day. There is no schedule setting to turn on.
  2. If you need End of Day to run on its own, email support@shipstore.com to talk about a Private Cloud site. It is a separate, customizable setup and there is a cost difference.
  3. On a Private Cloud site, support can set End of Day to run at set times, even more than once a day (for example, so shipment-confirmation emails go out during the day instead of only at the end). This is a paid setup; email support to arrange it.

What you should see

On a standard cloud site, there is no option to schedule End of Day, and you run it manually. On a Private Cloud site, End of Day runs at the times support sets up for you.
