Can I check all addresses in a batch before I upload it?
Summary: Shipstore does not have a tool that checks a whole list of addresses at once before a batch upload. You can check one address at a time on the shipment screen. Below are the options available today.
The short answer
There is no built-in way to run address validation (an automatic check that confirms an address is real and formatted correctly) across a full batch or import list before you upload it. Bulk address checking is on the product wish list, but it is not available yet.
What you can do today
- For a single shipment, use the address validation on the shipment screen to check and correct that one address before you ship it.
- If you are on a Private or Enterprise setup, email support@shipstore.com and ask whether the preship address-verification option fits your workflow. Note that it checks addresses inside the shipping workflow and still does not check a batch list before upload.
- For a large list you want to clean before uploading, check the addresses outside Shipstore first, for example on a carrier's own single-address lookup page. There is no in-product tool that checks the whole list at once.
- If bulk checking matters to your team, email support@shipstore.com so it can be weighed for a future release.
What you should see
A single address checked on the shipment screen comes back cleaned up or corrected. A batch upload still runs without any automatic list-wide address check.
