When contacting support for an error message, please see below for our best practices on information to provide our team so that we can resolve your issues quickly:
 
Errors when using SHIPSTORE portal
  • Send us a screenshot of the error
  • Describe what you were doing when you got the error (i.e. pressed rate button, went to X page, etc.)
  • Send us an export of the Shipment data by going to Resources on the bottom left of the screen, then click Export Shipment. Once that Window loads, select all of what is in the grey box and paste that in an email or txt file
    • If you are unable to send us the export, please let us know around what time the transaction was attempted and either the postal code of the ship to or a reference number on the shipment so we can search for it in the server logs
       
Errors when using SHIPSTORE API
  • Send us a copy of the full API request and response (including URL and headers)
    • If you are unable to send us the full error response, please note the following fields from the error:
      • Origin – this is where the error is coming from (either a specific function in SS or an outside source)
      • SystemMessage – the root error message
      • UserMessage – A cleaner message that may indicate how to resolve the error
