Due to Shipstore’s data security and privacy standards, all Shipstore-hosted systems automatically purge Personally Identifiable Information (PII)—including names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses—after 30 days. Retaining this type of information beyond its operational necessity increases risk to end consumers in the event of a data breach. This policy is designed to minimize that risk while still supporting core shipping, billing, and reporting functions.
This purge does not remove transaction or operational data. Users will continue to have access to shipment-level reporting such as origin and destination city/state/ZIP, tracking references, PO numbers, and other non-PII transaction attributes. Only information that directly identifies an end consumer is removed.
This data retention policy applies to all Shipstore Public and Private Cloud environments and is not negotiable. Customers who require longer-term or indefinite retention of PII may contact their account manager or Shipstore Support to discuss Enterprise deployment options and associated pricing.
