Summary

Having a report you built emailed automatically on a schedule (for example daily at a set time) to one or more recipients is not a setting you turn on. It is added as a custom, billable feature, where the report's fields and the recipient list are set in code.

What to know before you ask for it

  • Because the fields are matched to the report layout in code, a later change to the report's columns needs support to update the mapping, or the emails stop arriving.
  • The recipient list is usually set in code as well.

Steps

  1. Decide the report, the schedule (time and how often), the profiles or scope to include, and the recipient addresses.
  2. Email support@shipstore.com and include those details, and ask for a scheduled emailed report. This is a billable customization; get the estimate approved before work begins.
  3. Review a test send and approve it before go-live.
  4. Before adding or removing any column on a report that is emailed automatically, tell support first so the mapping is updated; otherwise delivery stops.

What you should see

The report arrives by email at the scheduled time to the intended recipients.
