Problem

You export a report to Excel and get an error.

Cause

The report configuration has Report Fields rows that are not mapped to any field.

Fix

  1. Open the report configuration (Edit) and go to the Report Fields tab.
  2. Find rows with no Object or Field Name and delete them.
  3. Click Save Changes, then export the report to Excel again.
  4. Check that every column you need is still in the report.

What you should see

The report exports to Excel without an error.
