A load or BOL you finished is missing from the list
Summary: A load you already finished is usually still in the system, just hidden by the date filter. The list column labeled Created actually shows the ship date, so set the To date to the load's ship date and it appears.
Problem
You finished a load or a BOL (Bill of Lading, the freight shipping document you hand the driver), but you cannot find it in the shipment or load list. It looks like it is gone, even though you completed it.
Cause
The list is filtered by a date range. The column is labeled Created, but that column shows the shipment's ship date, not the date you entered the order. When the ship date is later than the To date on the filter, the load is left out and looks missing. The column name is misleading; read it as "Ship Date."
How to check: if your load has a ship date in the future or after the date you filtered to, that is why it is hidden.
Fix
- Open the shipment or load list and find the date-range filter.
- Set the To date to the load's ship date or later, then search again.
- Make sure you are on the profile or location the load was created under. A profile is the account and settings a shipment ships under. Switch profiles if you are not on the right one.
- If it still does not show up, write down the order number and email support@shipstore.com and ask us to look it up by order number.
What you should see
After you set the To date to the ship date, the load appears in the list. Opening it shows the expected ship date and lets you reprint the BOL.
