How to Enroll in UPS
Paperless® Commercial Invoice for Canada Shipments
Overview:
UPS Paperless® Commercial Invoice allows you to submit
customs documentation electronically, reducing paperwork and speeding up
clearance. Follow these steps to enroll on UPS.com.
Steps to Enroll
1. Log in to UPS.com: Go to https://www.ups.com and
sign in to your account.
2. Access Account Settings: Click your profile icon
in the top-right corner. Select Accounts and Payment.
3. View Account Details: Under the Actions column
for your account number, click View Account Details.
4. Open Paperless Commercial Invoice Section:
Scroll down to Paperless Commercial Invoice. Click the + icon to expand.
5. Register Your Customer Number: Click Register My
Customer Number or Edit My Preferences.
6. Upload Required Documents: Prepare and upload
Company letterhead (digital image) and Authorized signature (digital image).
Accepted formats: GIF, JPEG, TIFF.
7. Configure Preferences: Select at least one
option, such as Enable Commercial Invoice, EEI, or Certificate of Origin.
8. Save Changes: Click Save Changes. Your account
will be eligible for Paperless Invoice within 24 hours.
Important Notes:
· Ensure your documents are clear and legible.
· Enrollment applies only to shipments to Canada.
