An option set in your OMS does not apply to the order in Shipstore
Summary: When an option you set in your OMS (for example Direct Signature Required) does not carry into Shipstore, the order data usually shows that field arriving blank or turned off. Shipstore applies exactly what the integration sends, so the fix is with your OMS.
Problem
You set an option in your host system or OMS, like Direct Signature Required. The order loads into Shipstore through your integration, but the option is not on the shipment. You expected it to map over automatically.
Cause
Shipstore uses the values your integration sends. If the option arrives blank or turned off, Shipstore is behaving correctly and the OMS is not sending it the way you set it. This is a data problem on the OMS side, not a Shipstore error.
How to check: load the order again and look at the option on the Shipstore shipment. If it is off in Shipstore but on in your OMS, the OMS is not sending it.
Fix
- Confirm the option is set correctly in your OMS for that order.
- Load or re-load the order in Shipstore and check whether the option is on.
- If it is still off, email support@shipstore.com and ask us to confirm what the integration sent for that field. Include your company name and the order number.
- If we confirm the field arrived blank or off, contact your OMS vendor and ask them to correct why the option is not being sent as set.
- After the OMS fix, load the order again and confirm the option now applies.
What you should see
The option (for example Direct Signature) appears on the Shipstore shipment after the OMS sends it correctly.
