The Label Mapping admin screen allows you to create/modify custom label templates that can be generated in a number of cases through the Business Rules.
Adding a Label Mapping
To add a mapping, click the "+" button on the top-right side of the screen. Once added, give the record a name, and set the toggles at the top of the page.
When editing the mapping, make sure all fields are filled out on each line. The possible elements for each line are:
- Line - Creates a line on the label
- Text - Places text on the label. This text can be static, or you can pull a field from the object being used by entering an object and placing curly braces around it, like this example: {OrderNumber}
- Barcode - Places a barcode on the label with the specified height and width. Barcode values can be similar to Text values.
- Image - Places an image on the label. Please contact support for this, as this is a difficult process.
At any time in the process, you can click the Preview button at the bottom of the page to view a copy of what the label would look like when it generates.
