Summary: Newly added ship stations do not switch to the production profile after an order loads because they were never added to your station-based profile-switch rule. Add the new stations to the rule.
Problem
Some ship stations switch to the production profile automatically after an order loads, but your newly added stations do not. They stay on the wrong profile until someone switches by hand.
Cause
Your profile-switch rule is keyed on the workstation (the specific ship station). The new stations were never added to the rule, so only the original stations switch.
How to check: open the profile-switch rule and see whether the new stations are listed.
Fix
- Go to Administration > Business Rules and open the parent profile-switch rule (its event is After Shipment Loads).
- Add each new workstation, as a child rule or in the station criteria, so it switches to the production profile like the others.
- Click Save.
- Scan a test order on each new station and confirm it switches to the production profile.
What you should see
Each new station switches to the production profile after an order loads, the same as the original stations. No one has to pick the profile by hand.
