Summary: The Description of Goods on the International Details tab starts blank on new international shipments. Add a profile shipment default that reads from Description > Supplements so it fills in automatically.

Before you start

You need access to edit the profile you ship international orders from.

Steps

  1. Open the profile you use for international shipments and go to its shipment defaults (the profile extras or defaults area).
  2. Add a default for the International Details Description of Goods.
  3. Set that default to read from Description > Supplements.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Open a new international shipment and check the International Details tab.

What you should see

The Description of Goods is filled in automatically on the International Details tab of a new international shipment, so you do not have to type it each time.

If something goes wrong

  • The field is still blank. The default did not save to the right profile, or the source field is empty. Check that you edited the profile you actually ship from, and that Description > Supplements has a value. If it still does not fill in, email support@shipstore.com with your company name and the profile name.
