Summary: In the business rule builder, the return shipment service (for example UPS Ground) is set under Shipment, then Return Service. If a return service dropped out of a rule and you cannot find where to re-select it, set it under Shipment, then Return Service.

Before you start

You need access to the business rule builder and the rule that sets the return service.

Steps

  1. Edit the business rule.
  2. In the rule action, expand the Shipment group.
  3. Select Return Service.
  4. Set the return service you want, for example UPS Ground.
  5. Save the rule and test it.

What you should see

The rule applies the return service you set, and a test shipment shows the expected return service.

If something goes wrong

The return service still does not apply: confirm the rule's criteria actually match the order, and check that the rule runs at the right time (its Event). If it still fails, email support@shipstore.com with the rule name.
