Summary: Host errors while processing a shipment, such as "Message queue allocated to another job" or "CEE9901," are timeouts between the Merchant App and the host system. Email support to have the service restarted, then fully log out and back in, Merchant App first.

Problem

You tried to process a shipment and got a host error. It can show up as a timeout communicating with Shipstore. You may see one of these:

Message queue [name] is allocated to another job

The call to *LIBL/SHPI126RXS ended in error

CEE9901 received by procedure SHPI001C

Cause

The host-side program call timed out because the merchant service (the background service the Merchant App talks to) locked up and left a message queue stuck on an old job. This is a problem on our side, not a setting on your station.

How to check: if the error appears at the moment you process, and stations that worked earlier now time out, this is the pattern.

Fix

  1. Email support@shipstore.com. Include the exact error text (for example "message queue allocated to another job" or "CEE9901") and your company name, so we can restart the merchant service.
  2. After we confirm the restart, fully log out of the Merchant App and Shipstore.
  3. Log back in to the Merchant App first, then Shipstore.
  4. Process the shipment again and confirm the error is gone.

What you should see

The shipment processes without the "allocated to another job" or "CEE9901" host errors, and stations reconnect after the full log out and log in.
