Shipping labels print undersized on a Zebra, at roughly 60 percent of the normal size.

Cause

Shipstore label formats are built for 203 DPI Zebra printers. When the printer is set to 300 DPI, each dot is smaller, so the label comes out about two-thirds (roughly 60 percent) of the intended size.

Fix

  1. Open the Zebra printer's settings (the printer driver, or the printer's own menu).
  2. Set the print resolution to 203 DPI.
  3. Apply the change and print a test label.

If the printer is natively 300 DPI, check with your label supplier that you are using 203 DPI stock and settings, or email support@shipstore.com to ask about 300 DPI label formats.

What you should see

A test label prints at full size, and the Zebra resolution reads 203 DPI.
